External Reviews
"The movie was great . . . too bad it was nothing like the book, which was even better."
"Took me a while to really get into this book, but wow a cracking read which follows on from The Guns of Navarone. Same characters, and MacLean's descriptive passages kept me on edge. Brilliant." - Goodreads Reviews.
" . . . the plot never lets up and you feel like you're one with the characters . . . a characteristic of all the most engaging books. Sure, it's slightly unbelievable in places, but the pace and ferocity of the story keeps you hooked until you've finished it." - Amazon Review.
