Ranulph Fiennes - Heat (2nd Hand Paperback)
Synopsis
After revealing his incredible achievements in the bestselling Cold, Sir Ranulph Fiennes reveals what it's like to live - and survive - in the hottest conditions on the planet in his latest book, Heat.
Britain's most famous adventurer, Fiennes took on the endurance test of living in extreme heat without water or shelter shortly after becoming the oldest Briton to have finished the Marathon des Sables. Showing his integrity and resolve, the book tells how he managed to live through temperatures that regularly exceeded 40 degrees.
A red-hot read about the limits of human endurance. Well-known for his experiences at the poles and climbing Everest, he has also endured some of the hottest conditions on the planet, where temperatures regularly exceed 40 degrees and without water and shelter death is inevitable.

External Reviews
"Another romp with Fiennes across the deserts of Arabia and Africa. Although the focus is on the author's own experience he does manage to weave in much of the local history and especially that of earlier explorers of the regions." - Goodreads Review.
