Ken Smith - The Herald Diary (Best of The Decade Bumper Edition) (2nd Hand Paperback)
Synopsis
Subtitled : Owling With Laughter.
A bumper collection of the decade's funniest stories, as published every day in The Herald's 'Diary' column, gathered together for you to enjoy all over again.
You can have a lot of laughs in ten years, which is why we have collected the very best of the amusing stories encountered by the readers of The Herald Diary column over the past decade.
There was even a Scottish Labour Prime Minister all those years ago, Celtic fans could only dream that their team would begin its quest for 10 titles in a row, and the word Covid was simply a typing error for David or cove.
So as everyone could really do with a smile just now, we have combed well over two thousand Diary columns to bring the best of what made Scots laugh over the last ten years, whether it is the sharpest humour from pubs, the daft things children say or the humour from all sides of Scottish courts, the very best are here.

External Reviews
"Humour to die for. Good book to lift and lay. Amusing and good for lifting the spirits. Good read." - Google Review.
"Ten years of laughter concentrated in one day. Immune system strengthened by humour from Scotland. Since I can’t go back home there yet thanks to pandemic it helps to know we’re still as daft as ever." - Goodreads Review.
The Author
Industrial reporter at the Evening Times until there was no industry left to write about. Jumped ship to the then Glasgow Herald as a reporter, until Diary editor Tom Shields realised that, no matter how hard he tried, he could not attend all the restaurant openings, bar openings, book launches, and champagne receptions himself, so asked me to help out. Then left me to it.
