Shipping policy

1) Free Local Delivery For Parts Of The Glasgow North Area

Just enter your postcode as usual at the checkout stage to see if your area qualifies.

Currently G61, G62, G64, G65 & G66 only.

. . . select Free Local Delivery at £0.00.

Please note : The Free Local Delivery option will not show until the Checkout Stage or the  Delivery/Shipping Calculator.

Books will be posted through your letterbox or dropped off within 2-4 Working Days (not including Sundays or Bank or Local Holidays) at the latest.

 

2) UK Delivery

Via Evri Couriers, Yodel Couriers, DPD Couriers or Royal Mail - 2-4 Working Days (not including Sundays or Bank or Local Holidays). Should we use Evri, Yodel or DPD you will be sent a tracking number by email.

Orders dispatched as soon as possible (almost always the same day). Secured padded envelopes or cardboard boxes used.

Some of our UK deliveries are sent through the standard Royal Mail service - no signature needed, just normal second class postage and not tracked. As such, when using this method, we have no orders page where you can track your package. We simply trust the Royal Mail to do what they've been doing for a few centuries now. We've found this the easiest, the cheapest, the smoothest & most reliable method.

a) Standard UK Delivery - Orders under £10

Order Value Based Rates.

Delivery for all UK orders of £10 and under is currently only £1 per order, so you can purchase a few books and still only pay £1 for postage and packing.

2-4 Working Days (not including Sundays or Bank or Local Holidays).

b) Free UK Delivery - Orders over £10

Order Value Based Rates.

Delivery for all UK orders of over £10 is currently Free of Charge.

3) Standard International Delivery (Europe)

Weight Based Rates (Dependant on the total weight of the books & other items - including packaging - in your Shopping Cart) :

Total Order Weight - inc' packaging - between 0 and 250gm - £15.00

Total Order Weight - inc' packaging - between 251gm and 500gm - £20.00

Total Order Weight - inc' packaging - between 501gm and 1kg - £25.00

Total Order Weight - inc' packaging - between 1.01kg and 2kg - £35.00

Total Order Weight - inc' packaging - between 2.01kg and 5kg - £55.00

Books should arrive within 3 to 17 business days as per usual international postage times.

Please Note : Because of additional Tariffs, Duties & Regulations recently imposed by the EU we currently are not selling to EU countries. Apologies.

 

4) Standard International Delivery (USA & Canada)

Total Order Weight - inc' packaging - between 251gm and 500gm - £20.00

Total Order Weight - inc' packaging - between 501gm and 1kg - £25.00

Total Order Weight - inc' packaging - between 1.01kg and 2kg - £35.00

Total Order Weight - inc' packaging - between 2.01kg and 5kg - £55.00

Important Notes on International Orders :

If you are ordering goods for delivery outside of the UK, please note that your consignment may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the goods reach the destination country. Any such charges levied in relation to customs clearance must be paid by you.

It is accepted by you that Campsie Books has no control over additional charges in relation to customs clearance. We recommend that you check with your local customs officials or post office for more information regarding importation taxes/duties that may be applicable to your online order as this changes country to country.

Options to have these duties and tariffs included in our Delivery Prices are being explored & implemented so some of our delivery prices may include the tariffs. Please look out for the term DDP - Delivery Duties Paid - in which case Campsie Books is able to pay them for you - further updates as soon as possible.

However . . . Campsie Books reserves the right to cancel international orders if the cost of postage/delivery/taxes/duties/tariffs is prohibitively high - customers will be informed and refunded within 2 working days.

We currently do not send packages to some countries, due to infrastructure and transportation restrictions and/or excessive import duties. Such restrictions may extend to other countries from time to time.
