External Reviews
"This live album is what really got me into Simple Minds, after the wonderful Once Upon A Time album and the world dominating Don't You (Forget About Me) single then came the world tour.
The album was recorded mainly at Le Zénith, Paris on 12 and 13 August 1986 on the last dates of the Once Upon a Time world tour, with one track (Someone, Somewhere In Summertime) recorded in late October 1986 in Sydney, Australia. It features the band's 1986 touring line-up, which included second vocalist Robin Clark and percussionist Sue Hadjopoulos. Lisa Germano contributed studio-overdubbed violin on "Someone Somewhere in Summertime" and former Simple Minds member Derek Forbes contributed (uncredited) bass guitar overdubs.
I think the versions of Waterfront and Don't You (Forget About Me) will never be matched, so so good." - Amazon Review.
